Giles completed a degree in Sound Technology at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) where he won awards for his work including the Sennheiser Student Achievement Award. After completing his degree he trained at Autograph Sound in London as a theatre technician and assisted on productions including The Lion King. He then worked as a recording studio designer and consultant to the arts faculties of educational establishments co-ordinating some prestigious projects including acting as consultant to the Belfast Insitute (BIFHE) to develop a state of the art recording studio and performing arts facility at the new Millfield Campus. He sits on the membership committee of CEDIA and regularly provides training to architects and construction individuals on home automation.
James has project managed and directed numerous exciting enterprises throughout his career. He started work as a creative style director for Film and Television in New Zealand. Following this, he became a project manager and business manager within the Versace brand. At the conclusion of this venture, James was then approached by Vodafone to become National Sales, Development and Change Manager. Throughout this time, James led various sales and business teams to award winning level of achievement and was presented the prestigious Vodafone Leadership Vision award.

Project Co-ordinator Tom has worked within the hi-fi industry for six years before joining James and Giles as Project Co-ordinator. Tom has a strong interest in the latest technologies and keen eyes and ears for assessing the best possible equipment for a particular project. Tom manages the Project Office at James and Giles and liaises with both internal James and Giles on-site and administration teams as well as external suppliers and distributors.

Senior Installation Engineer Nigel began his career in the audio visual industry over 30 years ago and has worked for several high profile audio visual companies before working with James and Giles. Nigel is a highly skilled installation engineer who has worked on a wide range of commercial and residential audio visual installations. He has specialist experience of installing commercial conference and board room facilities, home automation systems, telecoms and fibre optic networks. Nigel liaises between design teams and consultants, providing on site design and implementation including cable installation, termination and testing.
